The Archives Assistant is responsible for supporting the preservation, organisation, and accessibility of the museum's archival materials. This role involves cataloguing, digitizing, and assisting with research requests related to the museum's collections
The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the museum's outdoor areas, ensuring they are safe, attractive, and well-presented for visitors. This role may include landscaping, garden maintenance, and general upkeep of the museum's grounds.
Keeping garden area looking tidy
Managing and maintaining the museum's radio equipment and related artifacts. This role includes cataloguing, accessioning, and organising items within the Radio Room to ensure accurate records and proper display of the museum's collection.
Working in the Fire Station area. The organising and maintaining of objects in consultation with the museum staff.
Starting off in the Kia Ora Dairy Factory (Museum Main Building) You would be helping to accession artifacts and collection into our new asset management system.
Greet visitors at museum reception, provide info and collect the entry fee.
The Handyperson is responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair tasks throughout the museum. This role includes addressing minor repairs, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that the facilities are kept in excellent condition.
Working in the Workshop area with old motors and stationary engines.
