Funders and Supporters

As a not-for-profit, Gisborne Volunteer Centre relies on grants and donations from government and philanthropic sectors in order to continue to provide our services and programmes. The generosity of our funders and supporters enables us to continue our work in the community.

There are positive economic and social outcomes from providing a free workforce that is not motivated by financial gain and who give their time and skills freely to the community. Gisborne Volunteer Centre works with community groups across all sectors to identify and improve volunteering opportunities and recognise the work of volunteers in our community. We appreciate the financial assistance we get from our funders and supporters.

How Can You Help Support Volunteering:

If you would like to support volunteering in Tairāwhiti, you can donate the Gisborne Volunteer Centre via our Give a Little Page.

Alternatively you can make a one -off donation or a regular donation to the Gisborne Volunteer Centre Special Interest Endowment Fund with the Sunrise Foundation, please specify Gisborne Volunteer Centre.
Any donation you make to the Sunrise Foundation will be invested, protected and grown each year in line with inflation. The surplus investment income will be granted back to Gisborne Volunteer Centre every year, meaning your donation will keep supporting us forever.
