Organiser of Objects - Radio Room

Accession and catalog radio equipment and artifacts into the museum's asset management system.
Organise and maintain the Radio Room, ensuring exhibits are properly displayed and preserved.
Perform maintenance on room equipment to ensure it remains in working order.
Assist with the preparation and organisation of radio-related exhibits and displays.
Provide support for research requests related to the museum's radio collection. (Optional)
Collaborate with other museum staff to support various collection management tasks.
Ensure proper handling and storage of artifacts to preserve their condition and integrity.

Requirements:

Previous experience in museums, archiving, or a related field.
Organisational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with asset management systems and cataloguing software. (Optional)
Knowledge of radio equipment and its historical significance.
*Good communication and teamwork skills.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Ongoing time to commit to the upkeep and maintenance of the area.
