Sunshine Service Incorporated
The Sunshine Service provides transport within the city boundary (and including Wainui) for the elderly and people with disabilities to the hospital, medical appointments, and social and recreational activities. Our volunteers find their work very rewarding. You can choose to be rostered on a regular day a week, a fortnight or just make yourself available to be called on. 2023 marks 40 years since Sunshine came into being.
