Relay For Life - Te Ara Toiora is an inspiring community event that gives everyone a chance to whakanui (celebrate) people who have or have had cancer and the people who care for them; maumaharatia (remember) loved ones lost to cancer; and tū atu (fight back) by raising awareness and funds for the Cancer Society.

If you're passionate about promoting health lifestyles, join in and be part of the Volunteer Team in the Health Hub tent at the Relay for Life 2025! Promote healthy lifestyles to our visitors by showing them our activities, chatting and providing info - all activities and information is supplied.

Requirements:

Have an understanding or willingness to learn about the Cancer Society services.
Empathy and a great communicator

Time commitment:

A 2.5 hour shift on Saturday, 29 March 2025.
