Host/Hostess - Blood Donor Refreshment Table

Organisation:
Grey Power
Category:
Health & Medical
Hours:
Working Hours
Location:
Gisborne

As a host/hostess you will make our donors feel welcome and cared for. Providing that hot cuppa or refreshing cold drink and an opportunity to chat after giving blood means our donors have time to relax and recoup after donating. Our refreshment table is fully equipped with all you need to make that cuppa. In quiet times you will be able to check that the donor seating table is well supplied and the area is tidy and free from obstructions.

Show your caring nature by keeping an eye on our lovely donors. If they are looking unwell or having difficulty, have a quiet word with them and then alert one of our staff.

A special HELLO to those who have only school hours free to volunteer (particularly for the early afternoon shift) and who would welcome a chance to socialise. This role is made to fit your busy schedule!

Your genuine care and friendliness provides a meaningful way to thank those who are helping to save lives. All this while you are able to meet people from different walks of life and brighten the day with a friendly conversation.

Sounds like you? Don't hesitate - apply now so we can add you to our on-call roster.

Requirements:
  • Available to those 18+
