We seek people to take an active part in meeting discussions which would include strategic planning, reviewing policies, and ensuring that the services offered are in line with the kaupapa of the service and are appropriate, effective, and relevant to the changing needs of the community.

Requirements:

An interest in helping people get ahead through budgeting support.
Must be able to commit to regular attendance at most monthly meetings, the occasional absence is ok.
Must pass a clean slate records check from the Ministry of Justice.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

The committee meets monthly for about 90 minutes to 2 hours max.
Option to join sub-committee(s) for activities/projects, strategic planning or other activities.
No January meeting. AGM October/November as decided by the committee.
