Gisborne Budget Moni Ora is a non-profit organisation that exists to build financial capability in Tairāwhiti. All services are free, professional, confidential, and emphasise people’s self-determination and strengths. Moni Ora services include; * Financial Mentoring in confidential sessions - Face-to-face, phone, online, home visits available. Financial Mentors are another set of eyes that can offer options that may not have been considered and present them in a personalised step-by-step plan that works. In other words... mentors help unravel the chaos to achieve a better understanding of gaining control of finances. * Budgeting to provide the base to work from. Flexible money plans include spending & savings goals and debt repayment. * Hardship applications support with creditor negotiations, KiwiSaver, Property Rates, and insolvency options. * Kahukura supports with wider issues that impact cash flow. * MoneyMates Courses are a group conversations where the facilitator designs bespoke programmes to cover things that the group wants to know. * Microfinace options with application for zero-interest zero-free loans to low-income New Zealanders who are working with a financial mentor. ​
