Could you be a mentee?

This programme may be right for you if:

  • You are new to a board or committee and unsure about your role
  • You hesitate to contribute in meetings
  • You want to build confidence in governance and leadership
  • You would value confidential support and guidance from an experienced mentor
  • You want to make a stronger contribution to your community organisation

What’s involved?

Mentees meet with their mentor for 1–2 hours each month, at a time that suits both people, over a six-month period.

There will also be optional group gatherings throughout the programme, providing opportunities to connect, share experiences, and grow your governance knowledge alongside others on a similar journey.

Good governance helps strong community organisations thrive, but stepping into a board or committee role can feel overwhelming at times. You do not have to figure it out alone.

Whether you are new to governance or wanting to build your confidence, this programme offers practical support, encouragement, and real-world guidance in a safe and confidential environment.

Spaces are limited and matches will be made based on suitability and availability. Register your interest today to take the next step in your governance journey.
