Volunteers interested in budgeting are needed to keep the local budgeting service clear, transparent and on task.
The Gisborne Budget Moni Ora committee meets monthly to discuss service matters and review activities.
We’re a small team of 6-8 members, so everyone is important.
In a world full of distractions, slick marketing, easy access to credit, and convenient one-click purchasing, debt is normalised, and many people live beyond their means. Moni Ora financial mentors help clients solve the crises and create a plan to build resilience.
Staff at the service are professional and paid. But our committee is essential to monitor operations and maintain relevance in the community we serve.
You would be a good fit if you are genuinely interested in helping people get ahead through budgeting support.
