  • Prepare fruit/vegetables for cooking
  • Assist with cooking, bottling & labelling processes
  • Maintain clean & safe kitchen environment
  • Able to work amongst other Relish & Preserve Superstars
  • Reporting to staff: Volunteer Co-ordinator or Foodbank Co-ordinator
Requirements:

Must have own transport
Flexible with being on call as produce is donated , therefore large quantities don't have a timeframe when contributed
If able to assist in other food services e.g. cooking chicken or fish for individual meals is a bonus

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

This will vary when produce is donated, however would like preserves completed within 3 days if kitchen is available.
Times can vary for afternoons once workshops have been completed.
Office times for kitchen to be opened are from 9am-5pm, therefore it'll vary.
