Food Artisan Superstar

Prepare fruit/vegetables ready for making relishes, preserves or jams
Assist with the cooking, bottling and labelling processes
Store the finished product appropriately in the locations advised

All volunteer contributions are appreciated, recognised and celebrated.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of food preparation and bottling procedures required to meet food hygiene requirements
  • Be comfortable working alongside our Food Artisan Superstar team members
  • A bonus but not a requirement of this role, is being able to assist with other food service productions e.g. cooking fish or chicken for individual meals.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:
  • Flexible with being ON CALL as our donations are seasonal and are received when time allows for delivery to SuperGrans
  • Food preparation and bottling needs to be completed within three days of receiving the donation
  • The kitchen is available Monday to Friday most afternoons, at the conclusion of our workshops. We will let you know day and time when we call for your assistance
