Daffodil Day Collector or Stall Host

Fancy spending a few hours making a real difference this Daffodil Day? We're looking for friendly faces to be appeal collectors or stall hosts for various locations around Gisborne, selling daffodil merchandise, raffle tickets, and taking donations for Cancer Society Gisborne East Coast.

Your support helps cancer patients and their whānau access practical care, including free transport to treatment, specialist nursing and psychological services, and accommodation when treatment is far from home. It also supports cancer research and prevention advocacy.

What you'll be doing:

  • Running a stall at one of several Gisborne locations (all gear provided)
  • Selling daffodil merchandise and raffle tickets
  • Taking donations and using an eftpos machine (training provided, no experience needed)

You'd be a good fit if you're:

  • Someone who enjoys chatting with the public
  • Happy to be out and about in the community for a good cause
Requirements:
  • Able to use an eftpos machine (training provided)
  • Able to count cash accurately
  • Organised, friendly, and reliable
Time commitment:
  • Shifts available on Friday 28th or Saturday 29th August
  • Shifts of 2 to 3 hours
