Your tasks could include anything from rearranging or setting up tables, chairs etc. to ensuring that all supplies needed are available. We have a kitchen and that might need a look over for cleanliness and sufficient stock for a morning tea or lunch. Time required to set up will vary depending on the event so could be anywhere from 1 - 2 hours to set up. If you can call back to help put everything away, even better but not necessary. You will have access to a calendar of events so you can see when you need to pop in to give us a hand. This is a new role and if we get enough interest there is a possibility of creating a roster with a number of volunteers. If you are an organiser and enjoy providing an inviting atmosphere, and are flexible with your time, this could be the role for you.

Requirements:

Fit - you could be moving some furniture around to suit the event
Flexible with your time
Eye for detail
Able to work independently or be part of a team
Eager and committed to supporting our community
