Kete Trust provides local families with healthy, affordable food. Hand up and not a handout. Eat healthier with less money. Our mission is to help everyone in Tairawhiti eat WELL for LESS As a driver, you will be delivering fresh, nutritious food Ketes to local schools for family pickups.
This role involves meeting at the Kete Trust site close to the harbour, helping to load the Kete onto the van and checking the boxes off the delivery list before starting your delivery round. The round includes delivering to the offices of the following schools - Waikirikiri, Illminster, Te Wharau, Te Hapara, Elgin, Mangapapa and Te Whakaruruhau. Once delivery is finished you will return the van to the site, lock it and leave the key with the staff member on duty.
Ideal volunteers are reliable and comfortable driving to our drop off areas. A full, clean driver’s licence, and a willingness to lend a hand are all that’s needed. Be the friendly face people will link to Kete Trust.
Every Wednesday between 11:30 am to approximately 1:30pm. Delivery time is dependent on the numer of Kete to be delivered to each school.
