Join our caring team of volunteer knitters creating handmade items for our annual Charity Knit Sale. Whatever your speciality - baby, childen or other creative knitted items, we would love to have you on board. All proceeds of this event goes to local not for profit organisations such as Multiple Sclerosis, Gisborne Concert Band, Gisborne Brass Band. This role is perfect for people who enjoy knitting, and would like to use their skills for a good cause, Do you have a friend who knits? Even better - why not meet over a cuppa and the click clack of needles to bring warmth and comfort to local families. New to knitting, let us know, plenty of patterns and knitting needles available and even a small supply of wool/acrylic to get you started.
