All of our fundraising goes directly to Alzheimers Gisborne and stays here to support our work within our own region. Raffle selling dates are generally between August and October, normally a Friday and/or Saturday. There is no street campaign, always a sit down role, usually held at Bunnings or Mitre 10. You won't be alone, we will partner you with another generous volunteer. We accept cash or online banking, no eftpos. Most shifts are 3 hours 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Join us and you will be sent a roster to choose when you are available to help us out with these fundraising events.

Requirements:

Friendly and engaging
Comfortable greeting a diverse range of people
At ease with cash handling
Basic understanding of services we provide

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Normally 3 hours 9:30-12:30 Fridays or Saturdays
