Ceremony Support Team Member - Relay for Life 2025

Relay For Life - Te Ara Toiora is an inspiring community event that gives everyone a chance to whakanui (celebrate) people who have or have had cancer and the people who care for them; maumaharatia (remember) loved ones lost to cancer; and tū atu (fight back) by raising awareness and funds for the Cancer Society.

To support participants at the Cancer Society's Relay for Life event ceremonies; ensuring they are welcomed, and know where to go.

Requirements:
  • Well presented, reliable and enjoy interacting with the public.
Time commitment:

2 hours at one/both/all ceremonies:

  • Opening ceremony Saturday, 29 March 2025 11am - 1pm
  • Candlelight Ceremony Saturday, 29 March 2025 7.30pm - 9pm
  • Closing ceremony Sunday, 30 March 2025 10.30am - 12.30pm
