Health and Safety Officers - Relay for Life 2025

Relay For Life - Te Ara Toiora is an inspiring community event that gives everyone a chance to whakanui (celebrate) people who have or have had cancer and the people who care for them; maumaharatia (remember) loved ones lost to cancer; and tū atu (fight back) by raising awareness and funds for the Cancer Society.

We need Health and Safety Officers at the Relay for Life 2025. You'll be the key person for everything Health and Safety, working with the Relay for Life Committee and St Johns. If a situation arises, the Health and Safety Officer will follow procedures in our handbook. 3 hour shifts available!

Requirements:
  • Be a clear communicator
  • Work as part of a team
  • Confident in making decisions and following procedures
  • All training and procedures provided
  • Physically agile
  • Able to work a three hour shift at the event
  • Prior experience or skills in people management/health and safety preferred
Time commitment:

3 hour shifts available Saturday, 29th March and Sunday, 30 March
