Atawhai Charitable Trust runs drivers licensing programmes to tautoko their youth in need. Help us support our rangatahi in getting their drivers licence.

There's a vehicle provided for the lessons (includes a brake on the passengers side for emergencies). The mentoring is mainly driving based - not theory based.

We have a driving instructor who will take our mentors out for a drive as part of our mentoring induction.

Requirements:
  • Full drivers licence held for 2+ years
  • Patient and willing to teach!
  • Comfortable working with rangatahi with diverse backgrounds

A Police background check is required for this role.
