Here at Dunblane we have a village, rest home, hospital, respite care, day programmes, dementia care and palliative care and we offer a great range of services and recreational activities to our residents.

With our van we're always taking our residents out and about to the museum, art exhibitions, coffee, ice-cream etc. We love to take our residents out to support any exciting event going on in our community! Often we need a bit of help on these activities - we're looking for volunteers to come along with us in the van. The hours are flexible, depending what is going on that week.

Requirements:
  • Physically capable of climbing in, and assisting our residents in and out of the van.
  • Empathy and understanding of the elderly
  • Great conversationalist
  • Initiative to handle a situation if it changes
  • Committed

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:
