Kai Make and Baker

The Women's Native Tree Project Trust has been active in Te Tairawhiti for 30+ years. Our kaupapa is to recloak Papatuanuku back in native flora. We collect and grow from ecosourced seed from Te Tairawhiti and gift our rakau to community spaces like schools, marae, council reserves.

Every second Wednesday we get together for a couple hours in our nursery as well as holding regular working bees out in the community. When our volunteers finish we have shared kai to celebrate the mahi we do! We're looking to find someone who might like to provide us with a bit of kai now and again.

Requirements:
  • A delicious cook or baker!
Time commitment:

1st and 3rd Wednesdays, but we have regular working bees in our community - dates are set each month, reach out to hear more about these.
