Organisation:
Gisborne Volunteer Centre
Category:
Events
Hours:
Both/Flexible
Location:
Gisborne

Love wrapping presents, chatting with people, the festive Christmas season and giving to others? Enjoy all four by being part of our team of happy volunteer elves while supporting our annual fundraising event.

If you have a wrap technique you'd like to share, then we have a showcasing opportunity for you! Show us your skills and bring relief to The Warehouse customers who want to hide contents from prying eyes or simply don't like wrapping like you do. No special wrapping technique but you know how to wrap and make it stick? Well that's special enough for us! So don that festive shirt, dangling tree earrings, hat, glasses, whatever else that will bring a smile and give those Christmas shoppers an opportunity to chat with you and provide a koha, while you wrap their gift.
You will be standing for part of the time but seating is available. Standing or sitting, there will be something for you to do. Never wrapped with us before? No worries, a pre-event volunteer get together will provide you with all the necessary information of what to do,

APPLY NOW to secure your spot on the roster and we will be in touch with you directly. Want to wrap with a friend? Get them to apply too.
