Emergency Volunteers

Register now with the Gisborne Volunteer Centre as an Emergency Volunteer. We coordinate requests for assistance from individuals and organisations who need an extra hand during this demanding time. Once registered we will be in touch to discuss how you can help and what the process is should we need to call on you. Tasks could include anything from practical/physical work, to driving, assisting social service organisations, communications, delivering, packing etc. Note some volunteer assignments may require police vetting before we can send you out. Apply online today and we will be in touch as soon as possible.

Requirements will differ depending on the situation and volunteer roles available.

We will cover these points and more with you when we contact you after registration.
