SuperGrans is a holistic wellbeing service that offers whānau a hand when they need it the most. We provide the Tairāwhiti community with life skills, maara kai and cooking workshops, social work and social service navigation and connection, kai parcels and kai support, budgeting advice and strength-based practice to build self-esteem and confidence.
Our NZ Food Network kai deliveries are often a full pallet (it is different each week and we are never sure on the type, weight and amount that will be delivered). This kai needs to be shifted into the Koha Shed and the previously stored stock rotated to ensure good quality of kai reaching our clients.
Commitment to the role is essential as we transition into a more streamlined process of receiving, storing and delivering our valued kai. If you love organisation, this could be the role for you!
Reach out to chat about times that suit; it could be weekly, fortnightly or monthly; a few hours per visit. Once onboard, the Foodbank Coordinator will contact you if there is no task ready for you to do.
