This role is one of many key components to making sure local whānau have support with the essentials when welcoming a pēpi. Every pack contains 140+ items for the first year of life (bedding, clothing, toiletries, books & toys)
Our admin role includes:
Responding to emails received (templates provided)
Ensuring Managers are kept informed of any important emails received
Screening incoming referrals and data entry
Assisting where needed with other small admin tasks. E.g., uploading receipts to Xero, printing, etc..

Requirements:

This volunteer should:

  • Have great written communication skills
  • Be personable & empathic when communicating with a range of people and scenarios (via email)
  • Willing to go above and beyond to assist with enquires and ensure our service maintains a good reputation
  • Be able to use initiative and work independently from home
Time commitment:

Approximately 10 -30mins a day (or 1 to 3 hours a week) to respond to enquires and complete small admin tasks if required
