We are hosting our annual Youth Volunteering Awards in May during Youth Week and are looking for rangatahi to make their mark on the event by contributing to the planning and delivery.
Guided by the staff here at Gisborne Volunteer Centre we will work with you to create a fun and memorable awards evening.
The project will span approximately 10 weeks and include planning, marketing, coordinating, event decor and setup followed with evaluation and feedback.

Requirements:

We are looking for enthusiastic youth interested in showcasing volunteering and acknowledging their peers.
An eye for detail and organisational skills are ideal and a willingness to learn and collaborate.
Film, photography and social media skills are a plus as we envision capturing our award nominees to play on the big screen at the event.

Time commitment:

Approximately 1-2 hours per week leading up to the event which is on the 23rd May (TBC).
After an initial induction at our office, some of these hours could be completed from school/home.
