Kitchen Help

A Care and Craft Centre caters for adults with disabilities or lonely, housebound people who are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of handcrafts and social activities.

Here in Gisborne we have a diverse range of guests in attendance and have become the hub for a few groups, including Idea Services and Deaf Aotearoa. Join us in providing a friendly and safe environment for our guests to participate in a wide range of activities.

We provide our guests with morning tea and lunch. We're fortunate to receive donated baking but we need help in providing our guests with a hot meal for lunch. If you know your way around a kitchen and would feel at home cooking (or assisting with cooking) for approx. 20 people get in touch as we have a variety of kitchen roles needing filling - we want our guests to have a full tummy when they go home!
