Executive Committee Members

Tairawhiti Community Voice (TCV) is a regional voice for local communities and organisations - our Executive Committee helps with the vision of TCV, resulting in increased support to social services in Tairawhiti. The Executive Committee meets monthly, during the daytime, following a Network meeting.

The Executive Committee will comprise of no less than four (4), and no more than eight (8) members, and it will ensure a balance of representation from different fields within the social and community-based sectors. All people on the Executive Committee shall be elected based on skills, experience and shall have knowledge of the Tairawhiti region and come from within the membership of TCV.

Requirements:
  • Current member of TCV
  • Governance experience not essential but the desire to learn about Board/Committee responsibilities is important.
  • Nominations need to be accompanied by the signatures of two (2) Members of TCV Inc.
  • Nominations need to be submitted at least a week prior to the AGM being held each November, and shall be distributed to the Membership for consideration prior to that AGM.
Time commitment:

Two (2) hours per month; second Monday of each month - during the daytime.
