Lawson Field Theatre and War Memorial Theatre are popular venues for a variety of live performances, supported by a team of volunteer ushers, who welcome audience members with a smile and help create a friendly atmosphere. As an usher you will:

Check tickets
Direct them to the closest theatre entrance
Answer any general questions
Help latecomers find their seats at appropriate times.
Keep an eye out for anyone needing assistance

So come along, meet new people, say hello to friends and be part of the excitement of live performance

Requirements:

Wear black and white clothing for the performance
Confidence chatting with a diverse range of people
Reliability with good time management
Comfortable using a scanner

Time commitment:

As part of a team of volunteers you will be called on as needed to cover the minimum number required
Expect to be volunteering between 2-3 hours
