Volunteers are needed to provide social support for people with dementia. This may include going for walks with them, going for coffee with them or sitting in their home and chatting to them. It is an ongoing but flexible role - any day and at a time that suits you. Not only will you be making a huge difference in another person's life, but you'll see the pleasure that you bring to them when you visit or take them for a walk.

Requirements:

You would need to be comfortable with people who have dementia, patient, kind and reliable.
Training and support will be given.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

2-3 hours per week - more if you want to.
