We deliver a day service to people with dementia and we are looking for someone to help prepare and serve morning and afternoon teas, heat and serve lunches and prepare light desserts. Also clean and tidy up afterwards. Regular Wednesdays and other days as needed.

Requirements:

Patience and a good rapport with the elderly and people with dementia.
Basic kitchen and food preparations skills.
A team member attitude with a good conversational English.
Volunteers applying for this role need to be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 and have proof of vaccination.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

From 2 to 5 hours one day per week or up to 3 days per week if you want more. If you are only able to do a couple a days per month, we are still interested in talking to you.
