Your role as a CCTV Camera Volunteer would be to watch live footage from a control room to detect and prevent crimes and incidents.

Requirements:
  • Clean police record
  • Good observational skills
  • Reasonable level of computer skills (using a software monitoring programme to view camera footage)
  • Understanding of your role as a volunteer
  • Reasonable level of writing skills to record observations on a monitoring sheet
  • Over 18 years old

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

At least 1 monthly regular volunteer shift, as organised with the Volunteer Coordinator
