Aircraft Restoration

General helping out with other volunteers in our hangar based at Gisborne Airport.

Requirements:

Interested in planes or even a career in the aviation industry? Well get up close and personal with real life aircraft by volunteering to assist with our restoration projects. You will be supervised and guided by some wonderful old hands, all of them volunteers, learn from these experts. A learning experience not to be missed and a great stepping stone to a possible career with a positive addition to your CV. Good fitness level to be able to assist with shifting of equipment. An interest in mechanics. Knowing how to use a screw driver is a great starting point. :) Must be 16+ unless supervised by an adult carer. While we are encouraging youth into this field we welcome anyone, retired or working who has the time to lend a hand and still able to shift and lift.

Time commitment:

Flexible and ongoing. Open Sundays and Tuesdays.
