Basic Cellphones Tutor

Based at the Kaiti Mall, TaiTech provides technology training for those who want to know more about the digital world; building confident, innovative users of digital technologies.

If you have a passion for cellphones, and want to share your knowledge with the community - join us on Tuesday mornings! Confidence in speaking and engaging with a group is important, as there can be up to 15 learners in our class.

Lesson plans are supplied, but you should be comfortable answering questions and guiding learners through a variety of basic cellphone-related queries.

This opportunity is open to everyone; and applications from high school students are especially encouraged; it's a great way to build your skills too! Training is provided, and support is given from our Tutor and Operations Manager.

Requirements:
  • Patient and adaptable with a willingness to answer unexpected questions
  • A great communicator; able to effectively share your knowledge with a small group of learners
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of people to assist with technology needs
  • Reliable and committed to attending
  • Enthusiastic about technology

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

1.5 - 2 hours Tuesday morning.
