Turanganui a Kiwa Activity Centre caters to secondary school students to reset from their mainstream school, with a vision to return or move on to further education/training.

Come and volunteer at our kura and support our tutors by working alongside our tauira (learners) needing guidance and support. It can be hard mahi sometimes but it's rewarding! Every day is different, but our learnings are activity based and steeped in Te Ao Maori so if you have experience or would like to learn alongside us - reach out and see what we're about.

Requirements:
  • Empathetic
  • Understanding of Te Ao Maori
  • A great communicator
  • Respectful and encouraging in a classroom setting
  • Clean police record

A Police background check is required for this role.
