About This Workshop
Strong community organisations start with strong governance.

This practical, interactive workshop is designed for people currently serving on a not-for-profit board or committee — or those considering stepping into a governance role.

You’re welcome to attend on your own or bring along other members of your board or committee. While our whole board workshop is now fully booked, this session works perfectly for individuals wanting to strengthen their governance foundations.

We’ll focus on the essentials of effective governance and build confidence around the board table.

  • Purpose and Direction
  • Roles and Responsibilities
  • Business Planning and Finances

Practical Outcome
You’ll begin developing your own Business Plan during the session, using a practical template provided, and leave with clear next steps for your board.
