25 Years of GVC

For 25 years, Gisborne Volunteer Centre has been connecting people with purpose across Tairāwhiti. That is thousands of volunteers, hundreds of community organisations, and a whole lot of aroha.

You’re an important part of our history, and we would love you to celebrate this milestone with us.

Date: Friday 20 November 2026
Time: 5:30pm to 7:30pm
Venue: Waikanae Surf Life Saving Club, Grey Street, Gisborne

What to expect
An evening of kai, stories and memories, with a few surprises we can’t wait to share with you. Come along, catch up with old friends and meet new ones, and help us celebrate a quarter century of people power.

Who’s invited
Volunteers past and present, community organisations, funders, partners, supporters and friends of GVC. If you’ve been part of our story, this night is for you.

Bringing someone along?
That’s great! Just make sure you’ve both RSVP’d.
Let us know you’re coming by 10 November. Numbers are limited, so registration may close early if we reach capacity.
