Kokiri Kai

Whānau led community garden. Our vision is to bring back our connection to whenua and our Taiao through joyful mahi that feeds both puku and wairua. This is an informal group where people contribute what they can. The group maintains a Facebook page which details when they will meet for harvesting and group mahi. Follow the page for updates and ways you can be involved.


Willingness to contribute to maintaining and growing the gardens.
Having the mobility to access the gardens (surface is grass, most garden beds are not raised)
A willingness to understand the kaupapa of the gardens, kai and tikanga around this.

Time commitment:

Fridays and harvest days.
