This role requires transporting the Coastguard vessels into the water ready to respond for emergencies.
No training required although volunteer is welcome to attend Coastguard training to learn about the vessels and procedures.

Requirements:

This role requires being on call to respond to emergency call outs. The volunteer will be required to wear a pager and be able to be at the Marine Rescue Centre within 10-15 minutes of a call out.
Has stairs to climb

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

This role will be in response to call outs.
