Assist drivers to transport passengers around Gisborne in the Sunshine Service vehicle. This include's assisting passengers in and out of the vehicle. Having a friendly chat and generally being a welcoming and caring service provider.
Our Volunteers are mostly retirees who understandably, like to do a bit of their own travel.
Our Volunteers find their work very rewarding and no one is asked to do too much.

The ability to work as part of a team
Work a full day shift from about 7.30 am until late afternoon, weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
You can choose to be rostered on a regular day a week, or a day a fortnight or just make yourself available to be called on.
